hundreds of 表示的是"数百的"后面跟名词

例:There are hundreds of people in the hall.

还有一个hundred前加数词的如a hundred ,two hundred...这类后面不加of直接跟名词,而且hundred后不加s

例:There are two hundred people in the hall.

当前面有具体的数字时，hundred, thousand等不能加S, 如果加S的话，后面可以构成hundreds of 这种结构，同样的前面也不能加具体的数字，不过可以加一些概数，如many, some等。
